S2 and S2-Ultra cutoff inserts come with .001 to .010" corner radius and lead angels from 0 degree to 5 degree right and left hand. This system fits all Widia/Manchseter separator cutoff systems. Th High Positive rake with more open chip breakers for increased speeds and feeds at moderate to high speeds give this insert the edge on many CNC applications.
The Corner radius provides superior flatness and finish and works well in a variety of materials. It's greatest strength can be seen on Stainless Steels and soft gummy materials.
The S2-Ultra is an enhanced version that is ideal for 300 series stainless steels, nickel based alloys, Tool Steels Inconel and Titanium at moderate to high speeds and feeds.
